About the Ford Bronco
For generations, the Ford Bronco captured the hearts of passionate drivers with an unquenchable thirst for adventure. After a hiatus, the Bronco is back to build on its legendary reputation with both the classic two-door body style and the first-ever four-door variant in the model's history. Since the Bronco has always reflected an attitude that's as untamed and unique as those who drive them, the Bronco is offered in a total of 7 individual trim levels and over 200 dealer-installed accessories.
Engineers worked tirelessly to infuse the Bronco with the toughness of an F-Series truck and pulse-pounding performance of the Mustang. The end result? Segment-leading levels of off-road capability and Built Wild™ durability to help you conquer any obstacle that stands in your way. No matter how far your adventures take you, the tech-focused cabin helps you stay both comfortable and connected. Now it's your turn to take the path less traveled and write your own chapter in the storied legacy of the Ford Bronco.
What the Critics Say
"Nevertheless, I believe the Ford Bronco is well worth that wait if you're able. It's comfortable on the road, far more than its primary competitor, and it's loaded with solid technology and ample creature comforts. Whether it's headed for the dirt or not, the Bronco is the latest in a long line of home runs from the big Blue Oval." -- Roadshow by CNET
"Otherwise the Bronco is a win in every metric. From its character and design to its thoughtful and helpful drive modes and wide availability of its off-road package, the Bronco is the best buy among its competition for most shoppers. Whether you stick with the turbo four-cylinder or opt for the turbo V6, the Bronco has sufficient and smooth power for daily driving with a quick-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission." -- Edmunds

Go-Anywhere Performance
With a nameplate that's synonymous with off-road capability, the Ford Bronco has the strength and engineering to live up to its heritage. Drivers will have their choice of two potent engines with either the robust four-cylinder torque from the 2.3L EcoBoost® 4-cylinder or muscular gasoline-powered horsepower and torque available with the 2.7-literEcoBoost® V6. For those in search of maximum low-speed rock-climbing capability, a segment-first 7-speed (6+1) manual transmission can be paired with the available advanced 4x4 system with automatic on-demand engagement. For an even more responsive drive both on and off the road, there's also an available segment-first 10-speed automatic transmission. Topping the range is the 3.0L EcoBoost® V6 that produces 418 horsepower for the Bronco Raptor.
Every Bronco comes standard with an independent front suspension for improved control and a rugged solid axle design featuring coil springs with five locating links at the rear. Drivers can also select one of two available 4X4 systems. These range from a two-speed electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case to the advanced system which features a two-speed electromechanical transfer case with auto mode. The exclusive Terrain Management System™ with G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) Modes™ is designed to help drivers better navigate any type of terrain.
Heritage Styling
The start of the design process for the Ford Bronco began with a life-size digital scan of a first-generation model, to create a heritage-inspired yet modern style for this off-road icon. Its side profile is defined by its flat, no-nonsense surface with chiseled edges and widely flared fenders. Both two-door and four-door models feature a fully-boxed, high-strength steel chassis that delivers available best-in-class suspension travel. All Bronco models also offer an exhilarating open-air driving experience. In fact, roof panels on all models can be removed by one person by unlocking the latches from the interior. If you're having trouble choosing between cloth or hardtops, four-door models can be optioned with both for the ultimate in versatility. Trail sights located on the front fenders also act as tie-downs, similar to those on the first-generation Bronco, with a 150-pound capacity for securing longer items.
Adventure-Ready Interior
Striking a balance between creature comforts and trail-ready ergonomics, the interior of the Ford Bronco is purpose-built and ready for action. No matter how messy your adventures get, optional washable rubberized floors with integrated drains and marine-grade vinyl seating surfaces make cleanup a breeze. Interior color choices were inspired by both natural palettes and outdoor gear. True to its heritage, the dashboard of the Bronco features gauges and controls that are both clearly visible and intuitive. For the ultimate in connectivity, you can access your favorite multimedia features via the segment-exclusive 12-inch SYNC® 4 system. This system works seamlessly with the FordPass Performance app which allows Bronco owners to easily plan, navigate, and share their off-road adventures with over 1,000 curated trail maps. Another unique feature offered inside the Bronco is attachment points integrated directly into the instrument panel for easily mounting 12-volt power devices such as cameras, navigation units, phones, or other devices.
