Turning our focus towards the interior of both models, we’ll continue to see some key differences between the Bronco and Bronco Sport. In this comparison, we’ve selected the Bronco 4-door with the soft top. It’s worth pointing out that when equipped with the hard top, overall headroom for both the front and rear rows of seating is reduced slightly. Up front, the Bronco has the edge when it comes to both headroom and legroom. However, it’s the Bronco Sport that boasts superior room in the second row of seating. Although both offer a seating capacity of up to 5 and similar passenger volume measurements, the larger Bronco has a significant advantage when it comes to total cargo capacity.

If it wasn't already obvious, the Bronco is bigger than the Bronco Sport. Although we should point out here that the difference is less dramatic when comparing the Bronco Sport to the 2-door Bronco, which is only an inch longer than the Bronco Sport, and actually has a shorter wheelbase. We've already seen that the Bronco has more power, and with that comes a higher towing capacity. Of course, the Bronco is also noticeably heavier, and that means that whichever engine configuration you're going with, the Bronco Sport is going to get better fuel economy. You get a removable roof and doors with the Bronco, along with more ground clearance and the ability to wade into much deeper water. It's safe to say these differences give each model its own strengths.
