With the Mustang Mach-E, Ford gave us the next evolution of the muscle car. This all-electric model boasts some impressive performance, while simultaneously offering a lot more practicality than previous muscle cars. Plus, like many other electric vehicles, there are a myriad of configuration options, which is great for assembling exactly the vehicle you want, but it also means that there’s more of a difference between trim levels than you might expect. Ford Mustang Mach-E Price, Horsepower, Range by Trims

Though it is technically the base model of the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the Select is incredibly well-equipped. Things that would be optional extras on other vehicles, like a wireless charging pad, a 15.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, or rain-sensing wipers are all standard on the Select. Select models are available with your choice of the Standard Range (250 miles EV range) or with the optional Extended Range (320 miles EV range) battery packs. Additionally, both RWD (264 net system horsepower) and eAWD (325 net system horsepower) drivetrain choices are available.

The Premium takes what is offered on the Select and builds on it. It comes with the same standard drivetrain, and the upgrade to eAWD is the same. But the Premium also offers an Extended Range battery which delivers extra power as well as extra range. With this bigger battery, horsepower increases to 290 and torque to 387 lb-ft. If you go with both eAWD and the Extended Range battery, then you get an additional bump to 365 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Range obviously improves with the bigger battery, meaning that you get 300 miles with eAWD models and 320 miles with RWD models. And when it comes to equipment, many of the features drivers want the most are available on the Premium, like a heated steering wheel and the B&O® Sound System by Bang & Olufsen®.

The GT is the high-performance trim for the Ford Mustang Mach-E. It comes with standard eAWD and the Extended Range battery, giving you all the muscle you need to enjoy the thrills of the open road. The GT comes with 480 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. That’s quite a lot, but if you want even more, there is a GT Performance Upgrade that turns the torque up to 700 lb-ft. All this extra power means the GT doesn’t have quite the range of the lower trim levels, but it’s still more than you get with any trim equipped with the Standard Range battery. The GT is easy to spot as well, thanks to a unique grille and a set of 20-inch wheels over red-painted brake calipers.
